Qld: occupations to be removed

On the 1st of February, four occupations will be removed from the QSOSL; 2 will be removed from the offshore QSOL list but will be kept on the onshore List.

The Business & Skilled Migration Queensland’s website contains the following announcement:

1st February 2019

Please note that the following occupations:

  • ICT Business Analyst
  • Quantity Surveyor
  • Construction Project Manager
  • Marketing Specialist

will be removed from all the Queensland Skilled Occupation Lists (QSOLs) on 1st of February 2019 as BSMQ has received many expressions of interest for these occupations and has filled the quota.

If you have not recieved an  invitation by this date, BSMQ is no longer able to issue any new invitations.

BSMQ may open these occupations later if the current invitees do not respond in the time frame.

Please note that the following have been removed from the QSOL offshore list but will be kept on the working in Queensland onshore list.
